Why would you want to steal springs?

check with Glendaur of Talon Armoury, he is currently making spring stainless gauntlets.

(on Pennsic) I know that movie. It is the 13th warrior. A bunch of guys in armour that doesn't match itself or anybody elses, go on a trip and argue and get drunk and get laid and then fight Tuchux.

Why yes, there are people making spring steel armour:) I recently finished this pair. 19 gauge, 1050, w/ russeted finish.

I currently have a couple projects going, but could get a pair together in four to five weeks after I finish other projects, if your interested.

No, but I drove by a Holiday Inn once...;)

I make airplanes. But I'm also pretty good at researching things, so if I come across something odd that interests me I tend to look for information about it. I have a pretty broad spectrum of interests and a fairly good memory.
