I was just wondering who was going to WoW. Would like to meet some of my fellow archivers.
Look me up, I will be camping with hidden mountain. Ask for Doorman.

I'll be there, running with William Thomas, Afshin, and the Ebonwoulfe crew. Look for the tall guy in black with the spear.

I hate that I always miss this War. It falls on the weekend I return or leave for the traditional anniversary celebration with my wife.
I get a real good consolation prize, though. This is where I'll be staying with my wife:

I get to park my 21' Fish Hawk in the back yard that week - in the water. I should just make the Spanish Mackerel run, hit the Reds, harass the trout, and do plenty of surf fishing, too. When I think about it, I don't hate that I always miss WoW that bad.
I hope you all have a good time.

I met William Thomas at drums of war. Met Afshin there and at a couple of fighter practices since. I look forward to meeting everyone. Anyone want to arrange an AA meet up since it appears there will be a good # of us present? Maybe 9 am at the castle on saturday?

That's what I was thinking, but then again the staff plans on yelling to wake us all up at 7:30 again this year so....
(Either way, at 9am i'll be getting into gear in camp!)

Ok. 9am sounds bad...lol. Maybe 11 at the castle before the beginning of the field battles? I was planning on getting inspected early anyway and not doing the serious drinking until saturday night.

Well since the fighting field has been moved to the other side of the site (to accomidate Combat Archery) from the Castle I wouldn't suggest that either.
Then again, I'm not likely to attend any gathering so ya'll do what ya like!

Ok. Last change unless overwhelming opposition. 10 saturday night in front of the castle. We can all meet and have a beer together.

There you go again Brice being the fly in the tonic
I will be there as well Friday and Saturday for sure, probably wont make a gather either though, but feel free to look me up on the field. Fat monk in a wma kettle helm with chain drape, will either be wearing monks robes or maybe a red surcoat and fighting sword and red and black oval shield or processional cross.

I would like to know if anyone is planning to come to the castle at approx 10 on saturday night. I would rather not be the only person standing around if I could spend my time at a drum circle or something. I have only seen replies from people that won't be attending.

I think you would have a better chance of folks attending if it was in someone's camp. Standing around in the dark, not near a fire sounds...unfun.
Folks are welcome to stop by our place of course but we have a couple of kids in camp this year and will be pretty low key and quiet.
Doorman. Post a description of your armour, and I can't speak for everybody, but I'll track you down Saturday during the day.
Otherwise... just look for the guy that is near death's door, sitting in a Glaustenbury chair under a Blue pavilion with blue and yellow serpent scales dags... That'll probably be me. If you see an empty Glastenbury chair, then I'm having a remarkable day. Check back later.

Ok, I will be at the Hidden Mountain luau saturday night. Meet there around 10. Look for the biggest, non bald guy. (I have a friend approximately the same size as me but bald.) Feel free to drift by. I believe we are in area S3.
Armor wise...Easiest description. A giant black and silver spangenhelm. My legs look like leather. Ugly, beaten and mistreated leather. I might have a new pair of legs by saturday though so look for the black and silver spangenhelm and a giant wearing a black tunic and black pants. Most of my armor is hidden sports gear and plastic..for now.
It's not my best picture but it was over 100F that day so appearance at a fighter practice was not high on my agenda. I will of course have all the plastic covered up and long pants on at WoW. Hopefully I will have at least some steel knees by Saturday
