new gauntlets.

Post by Varukh »

so i recently decided to upgrade my old first gauntlets for something a little sturdier and something that looks a little better. So here is the first set of gauntlets i made just so i would have my own pair:

And now....drum roll please.........
My new upgraded gauntlets that i made over the past two days:

these are hand cut and stitched, dyed with vinegaroon, and wax hardened. Not trying to toot my own horn but these (I believe) are the best pieces i have made yet. I hope to keep improving and start churning these out on a more regular basis. but for now i am happy just upgrading my own gear. :D
Think i am going to start on a new set of leg armor or a new pair of bazubands tomorrow.

Nice work. Great shape and that stitching looks like it would take a sawzall to take them apart.

Good job.

thanks guys! :D Your encouraging words will help drive me on to bigger and better projects. I am trying to learn and try out as many patterns as i can.

All the stitching is hand stitched. The gaunts are also wax hardened with a 50/50 beeswax, paraffin mixture as suggested by Magnus. They turned out quite nice and are quite solid. Now i just need a fighter practice so i can try these babies out. :D

thanks again guys. :)
