Looking for steel Lamellar

Post by Matt_Stanley »

White Mountian Armoury, whom I planned to purchase from, is not selling any lames anytime soon, apparently. I'm looking to purchase lames made from at least 20 gauge steel in either the WMA style or the tombstone style, I'd prefer stainless. Alum, plastic, titanium, etc are not options.

And I'm just looking for the lames themselves, not full suits already constructed. I'm not opposed to putting in my own labor. :)

Can anyone point me in the right direction to a reputable dealer?

Thanks for the referals!

I do have a variety of plate styles in stainless steel, spring steel, and spring stainless steel. Which style are you interested in? GunnarUlfson was kind enough to post a link, and there is one in my signature as well.

I was looking at 8b, actually, no fluting needed. Are the plate deburred, etc? I don't mind doing it myself, I just want to know what I'm getting into. :)

I have used both EikBrandr and Calontir trim lamallar and both are excellent quality.
