Iv been looking for pics for a reproduction harness, that belonged to Tobias Capwell for a VERY long time now, and thought I would ask the knowledgeable ArmourArchive folks if anyone has any info Im basing my harness mostly on this one and need as many different angles as possible
All I know is that it was made by Robert McPherson and it was Tobias Capwell's first harness. I first saw this harness on the mini series Weapons that Made Britain, and ever since then Iv been trying to find more pictures (or video) for reference. It was rumored that this harness was sold to one of the interpreters at the Royal Armouries in Leeds. That is all that iv been able to find out about it
Below are some pictures I have captured from the show, as well as one I recently came across from a friend.
Thanks in advance!

Well, I know Rob's on the Archive, so perhaps he can help with some insight on the harness he made.

Hello,
You do know that Mac occasionally visits this message board, right? He's a rather nice guy once you meet him. You can find posts by him in a thread about "Iron Wire" in the design and construction thread. I've never know him to build anything without extensive pictures and drawings before the hammer work started. If you drop him an e-mail he can very likely direct you to the suit(s) that were the inspiration for Tobys first suit and maybe share with you some pictures of the completed work. (although I doubt that he has them saved online)
I would still very much like to pick at McPherson's brain and find out more on the sources of this particular harness I'd also like to talk to Tobias and ask how this harness worked for him, see if there was anything in the style that didn't work as well, what he would change, etc
