I just finished step one on prototypes for another project. As I looked at these things, I realized there might be a market for these sticks for maces or something as-is. Am I correct?

Thank you. Some of that thinness is optical illusion since the rest of the blank is so squat. The handles are 1" thick at the narrowest point.
I prefer a thicker oval grip. On the gladius I am keeping for myself, I intend to build up the handle using some tricks I learned in Belegarth.

I am convinced that a small horde of people wanting to copy my work has contributed in some small way to Eirik being out of stock. I'm okay with people copying my work: I want to see more swords on the field (instead of plain batons) whether or not I make them.
