OT-VHS movies-free, but you pay shipping

Post by CLANG »

I decided to move some antiques out of the living room shelves recently-that meaning that I'm finally getting rid of all those old VHS tapes.

I have 2 large-ish boxes full of them.

Box 1 is about 28 lbs, and has about 50 cassettes. Price to ship Parcel should be $35 or less. Price to ship Media should be $15 or less.

Box 2 is about 38 lbs, and has about 65 cassettes. Price to ship Parcel should be $45 or less. Price to ship Media should be $20 or less.

They're worth nothing commercially, but I HATE to dump them in a landfill. Not looking to sell them-just thought maybe someone here might still use a VHS player and want to help me recycle them and have some new (old) viewing out of it.

Genres are a wide range-historical, action, samurai, drama, anime, Disney, etc, etc.

Anyone want 1 or both boxes for s/h price?

Ain't technology a bitch?

Does your local public library carry VHS? If so, would they want a donation? Looks like Kanawha County system does still circulate them, based on their catalog. Might be worth checking.
