Expired fighter card question *Atlantia*
Quick question, I have been out of the fighting game so long that my card has expired. I am planning on going to a local event in April, but I do not know if I have to go through the entire authorization procedure again.
Anyone know what I would need to do to reauthorize?

You have to push the little yellow button to load it.

It depends, how long has it been since it has expired and do you still have it?
The Atlantian MoL website wrote:12. My authorization card is about to expire (or has expired.) What do I do? If your last authorization expired within the last four years, and you can prove it, you may simply renew your card. Fill out a Verification of Authorization form, date it, and sign it with your legal name. The MoL will verify that the weapons forms you are renewing match those on your expired fighter card and complete the MoL section of the form. You then pay the $5.00 processing fee to the MoL who will complete a temporary card and give you one copy as proof of renewal until your permanent card arrives. If you have not completed an authorization within the last four years, however, you will have to reauthorize.
I don't know what it means for multiple weapons forms, though.

In Atlantia you have a seperate authorization for each weapon form. So you can have multiple authorizations on the same card.

contact your kingdom Earl Marshal.

Sir Omarad for the win...
reauth policys vary from kingdom to kingdom.
Usualy the marshal website or autherization clerk/kingdom MOL page will have the information.
Last time I looked a reauth for Aethelmearc was within X months of experation requireing a marshal signature.
Preferibly starting 6 months or so before the experation date incase of any paperwork problems/errors.
At one point I needed 5 cards for a day at Pennsic.

don't quote me 'cause I'm too lazy to go look in Atlantia's rules (which are online, so YOU can look them up) but as I recall, with just a week expired, you just need to pay for new cards, not reauthorize.

It's no biggie to reauthorize. I did that multiple times as Earl Marshal of Atlantia. Always seemed to forget my card every time the MoL of the event was getting hassled by people complaining about having to reauthorize....

According to the Atlantian MOL website you have four years from expiration to renew, so long as you have proof. I double-checked with the Atlantian Book of Policy and the two are in agreement.
