OT: Anyone need a BIG light table in So CA?

Post by Blaine de Navarre »

I am trying to get rid of a ginormous print shop light table that I no longer have room for. It is mostly intended for anyone local who can pick it up, but I would consider freighting it if you really want to pay that much.

This has a glass area of approximately 40" x 60", so it is plenty big enough to lay out architectural drawings, full size patterns, etc. Overall size is 35" high; top 64-1/2" x 44-1/2".

I'm not sure the age, since it was already used when I got it, but it works fine and I replaced the glass top a couple years ago. It is similar to the model the company still makes, except the newer ones are dimmable (this one has 2 switches so you can have 1, 2, or all 3 tubes on, so kinda dimmable).

These are in the $2K-$3K range new; I poked around craigslist & ebay for comparable used ones, but all I could find were smaller ones (and one much larger one  ) going for up to $300, so I'm guesstimating this one is worth about $500. I will entertain lower offers if noone bites at $500, and will also entertain trades.

Ah, just the thing I was looking for when I was in California and going to startup doing calligraphy. This will be a gret deal for someone.
