Show us your Rus kit!

Post by Halvgrimr »

I am thinking of converting to an early period Rus kit (pre 11th C)
Not set on a specific time yet.
Probably gonna let a cool looking (and hopefully not over done) helm set the exact time frame.

Lets see your existing one!

Perhaps Camric has shamed you all with his kit?? :P

(thanks to J Johnson for sending me all the images to my gmail account!)

I actually think that Rus is very underdone in the SCA... That and Camric shamed everyone with his kit.

Personally I would LOVE to see a good Russian persona with a Kuyak, or similar style armour and one of the very cool pointed Russian style helmets.

(on Pennsic) I know that movie. It is the 13th warrior. A bunch of guys in armour that doesn't match itself or anybody elses, go on a trip and argue and get drunk and get laid and then fight Tuchux.
