I recently got a KW Kettle and an Aventail from Atlanta Armory ..... now, most of my SCA armor tinkering has been limited to dark ages stuff ..... How the hell do I attach this thing to my kettle ? Im sure I could work my way through it, but I am bound to screw something up, so I appeal to the AAs collective knowledge and experience!!!

Last month, you asked. Admittedly, a "turtleneck" to the camail would have helped you. You've got a cowl there suitable for affixing to the bottom edge, or close to it, of a hat.
