wtb youth helmets

Post by zippy »

Looking for 2 youth helmets for a 10 year old (21in) and a 7 year old(22in), looking for cheap but period. I will buy a hockey helmet or lacrosse helm if need be, but just wanted to see if any were around.

this is available, but no size listed is a problem

Any advice or affordable youth armor would be appreciated. I am not sure about investing a lot of time and money into kits for kids that may need new ones in a year.
thanks

I have a youth fencing mask brand new in plastic wrap size XS if your interested, just send me a PM. The fencing masks are nice as they give full vision and ventilation, you can put a hat on top to make it look more period. I have seen a few kids using these before.

Cheers!

Zippy,

I bought the same one for my 7 year old. He was born from a watermelon patch so needless to say, the kids got a freakin melon for a head. With half inch foam padding and a little extra here and there, it fits him fine. We had to run leather straps to keep the visor down but other than that a good youth helm. Especially for younger age divisions. Hope this helps.
