Bazubands?

Post by ChloetheEvenhardt »

I'm trying to help my boyfriend find some "custom" bazubands.
By custom, I mean small. He's not a big guy, and he's used arm armor as leg armor because it was too big for his arms >.>

Anyways, the material doesn't matter. What does is...
Simple, affordable, tough.
They can be plastic, steel, whatever. So long as they offer rigid protection to the elbows AND they fit him. He's gonna cover them up, so the simpler the design the better it is for him. No connections, no holes, no nothing.

Problem is, I don't know where to look for them. Of all the places I've found there are a few issues.
A. They don't respond
B. They are too expensive for what he's doing ($100+)
C. Insane waiting list

So, anyone know where to go?
He wants to keep it around $75.00 with shipping, cheaper would be great.
Also, I have a very nice cell phone that I could offer as trade for these (and possibly something else) if anyone needs one.
THANKS!

You could get some stainless, fanless elbow cops from Cet at Rough from the Hammer for $28. Mild for $12. Since they're going to be hidden, he can just paint them, inside and out, to prevent rust. A period solution, too! ;)
A couple of pieces of leather wrapped around his forearm, padded on the inside, water hardened, and tied to the elbows via a couple matched holes, and you've got excellent protection.

One of the local guys at my practice uses Sir Haroun bazubands and he loves em. He is not a big guy either, 5'10" and I think 160lb or so.

I am a small fighter as well, and Sir Haroun bazus are the best I have ever worn. Very safe and a great fight. 5 stars.

No worries.

Haroun's bazubands are stupidly great. Lightweight, protective, well fit, and available in a wide price range. I want a pair for myself but have not yet gotten onto the list.

I can make some for you if interested. I make mine with wax hardened leather. They are quite sturdy and have worked for me quite well.
