So I am trying to get size and shape for this down. I have no clue if I am even close any feedback guys? I keep getting asked about these so I figured I would try and see if I could freehand one out. Its half inch Birch and has a 2.5 inch concave. The shield is 19 inches in height and 17 inches across widest portion. I am even close here?

Getting a good fit to you and your armour is also important, especially placement of the arm strap. I think you are off to a good start.
