*Sold* House of the Wolf Armor and Spurs for sale.

Post by James B. »

Both items are never used and just sitting around my house so I thought I would sell them to someone who needs them.

The House of the Wolf armor is hardened leather, light brown in color. It is a set of cuisses, schynbalds, and vambraces all strapped with fancy buckles. This is an XXL size set of armor. It is a tad loose on me at 6'3" 300lbs not wearing any padding. Price $200 shipped.

Also I picked up a set of Talbot's steel spurs when he had the sale going on over the winter but I ended up not using them as I planned. $70 shipped

I can ship ASAP or deliver at Pennsic; PM me if you are interested.

Would you be willing to separate the armour parts?

I would prefer to sell the whole thing but if all the parts are asked for separately in this thread or in a week they are still lingering I will separate the parts; which are you interested in?

I have a large foot and they as are are tight on my heel however the metal has some give and can be widened or pushed closer together.

I may be interested in the vambraces, but I'm not sure about my finances, so don't hold them for me. If they're still available when I figure out the money, I'll take 'em.

I would be interested in the cuisses if you are separating the armor. How much?

If that is the case I will think about separate prices and post them later, I was worried I would not find a buyer for this part id I broke it apart.

I am very interested in this part. Are you going to Pennsic? If you break them up I'd be willing to pick up the cuisses at Pennsic.

Sorry to the guys who are looking at various bits of this... But if it not already spoken for I would be interested in taking the whole lot...
Only two questions...

I know the price of $200 stated that it includes shipping but I am assuming that only means Con. US so how much for shipping to Tasmania, Australia - p/code 7008?
(hoping under about $50)

and secondly - this is only a minor thing, more for prior knowledge - how is the leather treated/sealed? what are the chances of it taking dye/paint?

Ozzie,

HotW used only water and heat to harden their stuff (there should be a tutorial by them on the Archive, unless it was lost in the Great Disappearance) - my guess is it would take dye just fine, but that might cause it to soften up a bit.

Looks like Brian is taking the spurs. I have some PMs about the leather armor I am going to take them all in order. Ozzie you are second in line I will take a look at the shipping.

The armor is died, hardened and sealed. If I recall Dan would water harden then die then seal with a polymer; that is why it looks a bit glossy in the images.
