For Sale: Albion Sword --SOLD--
Hello,
I have for sale an Albion Count, in box in new condition. It has a bronze pommel and red/oxblood grip (colour can be changed for an additional cost). I have never cut with this sword or used it in any way. The blade is crisp, clean, and sharp. The Count is a wonderful example of an Oakeshott type XIIIa. It is a marvellous sword to behold, ornate yet rugged. The sword glides effortlessly through Fiore's postas and Talhoffers guards. I have had several Count's in my possession over the years and they cut extremely well. Slicing through foam noodles, tatami, and plastic milk jugs like butter. The guard and pommel are exceptionally beautiful, examples of the fine art of swordmaking. The fuller on this piece runs crisply down the length of the blade with no swelling or wandering. A wonderful piece and an essential edition to any sword collection.
From Albion's website:
"An octagonal pommel of type I1 echos the distinct shapes of the unusual cross: a version of style 2 but with small beveled swellings in the middle of each arm. This cross is inspired by a remarkable sword found in the banks of Fyris river in Uppsala, Sweden.
The grip also has eight planes and a riser in the middle as a support for the hand. Mounted in a hilt with a long grip like this the blade becomes very agile and quick.
A Limited Edition Hand Crafted Collectible Sword
This sword is offered in a limited edition of only 500 collectible swords worldwide."
The count retails new from Albion for $1,100
I will let mine go for only $825
Best regards,
Hadrian

Re: For Sale: Albion Sword
That is sexy....
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit. -Aristotle
