FS stainless steel sabatons approx size 9 (8-10), new.

Post by somedudeinutah »

A new set of Stainless steel sabatons, never worn. just finished today. satin finish, brass rivets. I have been making my size only (12) but have had requests for a smaller size. this is the first set in the smaller size, approximatley size 9 (meaning it fits OVER a close fitting shoe of size 9) and can be opened or closed easily to size 8-10.

$110.00 paypal prefered.

@ Galvyn: Not exactly. I hate promising anything or taking money in advance. I only make armor when I feel like it, because it is a soothing therapy for me. I tell people "I fix appliances for money, I make armor for fun"... That being said, I am on an armor kick right now with lots of stainless steel laying around. I will kick another set out this weekend most likely. What size shoe are you? I will make a set and offer it to you first, if you like. No obligations either way.

@ Gaston: The design is Talbot's with very minor modifications. I have found most of his designs are excellent and worth the 5-10 bucks (actually WORTH way more than that) he charges for them.

Somedudeinutah,

I didn't jump on these because my shoe size is 10 1/2 EEE but I can stuff em in soft 11's

I'd also be very interested in a pair of these awesome sollerets

So if you happen to do a set and you happen to make them in my size.... I'd jump on em like a parched man on a glass of icewater

Somedudeinutah,

I wear an ever popular, size 10.

I could provide more exact measurements later if need be.

Thanks.

Take whatever time you need.... as you said, its "therapy". I'd rather wait longer than have you not enjoy making them.

I'd be up for a pair if you build another set in the size nine range. I wear an eight and a half.
