FS: Rattan Sword Scabbard

Will fit a sword with a 36" blade or shorter (it's a long scabbard). Color is a dark red with black, solid brass hardware. I did some filework on the buckles to make them less modern-looking. Hang straps can be reversed for left-side carry.















This will fit a waster that's been shaved down to 1.25". It is uncomfortably snug on swords that are larger that that. It tapers towards the tip, so a shorter sword that's a little bigger will be fine, something with a 36" blade will need to be precisely shaved. If you stick your rattan into it and let it sit, it will stretch though. Because it's a little tight, I'm discounting it a tad.

$80 + shipping in US. Will consider trades involving gauntlets, and will add to make it worthwhile.

I don't use a basket, so I need something that's not demis. I'm not picky beyond that. Steel, leather, plastic, fingered, clamshells, whatever. I can't afford to spend hundreds at once on some custom finger gaunts, so I have to keep experimenting until I find something that works. As long as I can either cover them with leather or paint them brown to make them less obvious, it's all good. I should mention that, apparently, I have medium-small hands as far as SCA gauntlets are sized.
