Looking for: 15th century couters

Post by PatternWeld »

Who makes these?

I need a set of pointed, floating 15th century couters in stainless, to go with a set of knees I got from Lywellyn

I've checked several of the "usual" suspects but no dice. I'm even willing to order these from out of the country if need be.

Thank you for the pointer. The ones he has on his site are 18 guage (too thin for my taste) and are listed as "Call for pricing" which invariably means "More than I am willing to pay".

I just need a simple set to pair up with splinted leathers.

These look like what I am looking for. Anyone know what Serg charges for these or if he works in stainless?

Try Willy Trombone. He makes some great looking German plate at a very nice price but I don't know if he works in stainless.

I would jump on Mr. Trombone's work in a hot second but it is my understanding that he doesn't work in stainless.

Serg replied and his prices are very reasonable.
