Being rather new to the SCA armoring circle, I must ask: Are there certain requirements to be fulfilled to wear an Archive favor?

Nope. The Archive favor is a statement you make to the Known World, that you are affiliated with this site. It is not an endorsement of you, by the site. You can even make your own favor, if you like.

I do, however, have one of the Rev's make, and it is superlative, complete with a small hidden pocket for auth. card, etc.

I got mine and a review will follow shortly.
Ivar....as I understand it wearing an archive favor or sporting an archive banner is a statement that you agree with the basic tenets of the archive, and support what we all stand for, and is a way to identify yourself to fellow AA'ers at events. Simple as that!

Very well, then I would like to buy a favor, Rev. Will you be at Pennsic? If so, you can find me selling my meager supply of armour at booth 180, inside the Unicorn's Garden. I hope to meet all of you whom I have talked to at the meeting at Pennsic!

.... I knew I should have looked at this thread earlier.... I'm leaving Wednesday morning... less than 24 hours from now (yikes!-- still need to pack!)... If anyone else is leaving after that, maybe they could get it to me?

Rev. George: I believe I'm one of the "two gents who just ordered them," and I recieved mine yesterday. Interestingly, the envelope got completely mangled on one corner (paper totally ripped off), and arrived in a USPS "we are sorry to destroy your mail" envelope. However, the favor was just fine, and is very nice.

I am certain that the damage to the envelope is entirely the USPS's fault, and not yours, but in view of your mail trouble, I thought you might want to know (did you forget to tip the mailman? Image)

Thanks for your great work,
