Rubber warhammer heads no longer available?

Post by Sigismund von Helfenstein »

Seems everywhere I look somebody has one of these sweet rubber hammer heads.

Of course, I go to try and pick one up and they are nowhere to be found. Are these not being made anymore? Anybody have a comparable alternative? The combination of durability, weight, and look on these things is great.

Have you emailed them? I had to wait till they did the next round of productions to get mine.

Worth the wait though!

I had just got mine two weeks ago, the site listed it as out of stock. I still ordered not expecting it anytime soon. But it arrived before my rattan did, and I ordered that first.

Have you tried the Kong dog toys? I know it's not exactly what you're looking for but maybe something like this
http://www.kongcompany.com/products/dog ... /wobbler-1
with a larger hole cut for the rattan or
http://www.kongcompany.com/products/dog ... ng-classic

Just an idea.

I have one that's been collecting dust for a couple years. It has a bit of duct tape left on it, but it's hardly been used. If you are interested in second hand, pm me.

What Matt said. I have both the Revival and the Purplehearts and I like the Purplehearts better (even without taking the Brian Price politics into account).

I didn't specify in my first post, but I need it to be SCA legal.

If you want SCA legal, get one from revival and check the boxs that says "sca legal".

The purple heart one has a edge to the beak and corners. All they do is grind off the corners and round the beak, so you could do that yourself.
