Early 15th century spaulders for sale (spring steel)

Post by Jan van Nyenrode »

Hi,

I've decided not to pursue a early 15th century kit. Consequently I'm offering this spaulder up for sale.

It's after the Churburg no. 18 set. It has some nice engraving on the besagews and is made out of 16 ga. Spring Steel.

EUR 200 excl. shipping.

Cheers,

Jan

Hi,

It's 1050 hardened and tempered. It's very sturdy.

Hi Jan,

Ist it possible to see some pictures of the back and inside of those pieces?
I'm tempted, but very low on cash at the moment. Who made them?

And here is the second set. Please note that I'm wearing the spaulder to much forward and a bit too low due to the location of my points on my 14th century arming coat.

If you have any other questions, please let me know.

Cheers,

Jan

What's holding you back? If it's the price, you can always make me an offer.
