That is one sweet looking stick. I would also be interested in hardware.

no problems.
if and when your ready ill be here.
just let me know.
i honestly dont expect to make tons of these so the business is set up for slow work and loose timeframes.
so any time you are wanting to do something is fine.
i do work a regular job from 6:00 to 2:30 pacific time.
and i have a life outside of my hobby but custom work will take priority over other menial tasks that take up my spare time.
(like painting my sons room)

What does the blade look like on this one? is it planed or anything? How well do you think one of Captain Jamie's foam thrusties would fit on the tip? I'm growing more interesting in this particular piece by the minute.

Additionally, how is the coloration done on the hardware, is it anodized somehow or painted?

this one is just round, 1 1/4 inch skin on rattan.
so immagine a regular blade done up in silver tape and there you go.
no anodizing, it is paint.
3 coats and sealed.
ive been doing this for my swords for a few years and i find the paint usually holds up pretty well when sealed.
plus it helps keep the color nice and vibrant.

and if something happens to it you can always re paint.
