How much good can be said about Frank, at Viking Leatherworks? Not near enough in my opinion. This is my second order from him, and I thought the viking 2 toggle boot was good the first time around... I actually refuse to take them off right now, seriously. The lugged sole is stellar, and the dark brown leather is excellent on my foot. I cannot wait to finally being wearing a period looking shoe while I fight (the first set were intended for soft kit only). Its like wearing a comfy slipper, but I feel like I can run right out to the war field at the same time. I hope I get to buy you a beer one day, Frank. You provide an excellent product, excellent customer service, at a very competitive price. Thank you for helping to make the SCA combat field that much nicer to look at.

Re: Yes, another Viking Leatherworks review...
Thanks Marcus. I like it that alot of the guys are wanting the lugged soles on their boots. They do look much better on the field, instead of the combat boot or biker boots seen in the past. I remember watching an episode of Knights of Mayhem last year and seeing one of the guys wearing cowboy boots. Wow.
Thanks for the feedback, it is very much appreciated.
