I think it was a finger. Does this guy in the cape have a bargrill visor?

Yeah the music is killing me. I guess I was expecting more after watching the produced video and listening to all the "period" requirement/hoops the fighters had to go through to get in. Maybe they are just piping that music into the live feed and not on the grounds?

I did get to see Felix fight which was awesome.

Looks like they're giving one of our guys grief over his arm harness. Might be a coverage issue? Ref using a chopping motion to his bicep to communicate the problem.

They're about as historical as we are in the SCA. I'd like to see documentation for beautiful young ladies in tank tops. ;) If they could cut the band and add in another six of her....

The photography is excellent. I like the boom cranes, and they are the least distracting thing in the video.

Does Team USA have a lot of armour failures OR is Ice just sending somebody out each time to check as a CYA?

Ice, if you are reading this a week or so later...I'll pay an extra $40 for a commentary by the fighters (or even some of the fighters). It would be cool to hear what you guys think.

The team heraldry is great but the more I watch the more I realize that I can't tell who _anyone_ is without their SCA kit on.

So share some vid caps of this lovely lass, my friend, for those of us who missed the start (and whose work blocks any kind of streaming) :)

Whoops, now the TEAM USA guy is down (and sword-and-shield to boot, the SCA bread-and-butter). I expected 100% victories for sword and shield. :(

This is driving me nuts, it cuts out during the action then catches back up during a break. :x

It was Felix that just went down. Longsword fight, but the camera didnt pan quick enough to show what happened.

He got up and walked off. Looked like he was ok.

Apparently, he took a hellacious blow to the right side of the helm - there is a great discussion going on the USA BoTN FB page

Someone didn't show up to fight.

BTW, if there is an update on the health status of Duke Felix, it would be nice.

The band got better IMO.

Also, can we get regualr updates on how our guys are doing and the overall scores? Facebook is hard for many of us to access during work. :(
