I filmed it then did a bunch of experiments and I need to add my comments as to the results, so I need to do it over again. I am hoping to have it done soon but I was a bit swamped the last few weeks trying to rush orders out. I will get it up as soon as I can though.

Did you post your list of materials and suppliers anywhere?

Only half through first video....

Thanks,

I did in the description of the first video. If you click 'show more' you should be able to see it. Then I discuss materials a bit in the first video too.

Thanks. I did end up noticing the description contained the supply list.

So if I wanted to make a bigger banner, the veils listed on the silk supplier site are the same as the scarves, just larger. However, I think starting small is a good idea regardless.

Thanks for taking your time to put this out into the wild.

You can order silk by the yard from them as well. The scarves are just cheaper and easier to work with. I don't like to do banners much bigger than 3' x 10', and even at that size they are really annoying to work on. The more fabric you start working on, the floppier the whole thing is. You can sew pieces together too but you have an obvious seam.

Is there a part 4 yet?

Watched the first 3 this weekend and started on a PVC frame.

No. I never got around to finishing it. I am not sure if I have the video I was shooting either because my laptop died but I will see if I can find it Wednesday.
