Munitions Grade Arms Pre-Pennsic Update
I've got rattan coming in to tide over until the big Pennsic shipment. Premium straightened, regular, Thug & BOOM sticks should arrive Thursday or Friday (In time for Baron Wars!).
After that I'll be up at Warriors & Warlords in Northshield July 13-14.
At Pennsic, I'll be in the same space I was last year on Plunder Lane (Space 135), directly behind By My Hand Designs. And I expect to have the full two tons of rattan again this year.
Feel free to contact me if you want to pre-pay for something to be picked up at Pennsic. I'll update here with new bulk prices once I figger them out.
As a reminder, unfortunately, rattan prices have gone up. Regular rattan is now $20 per 9' stick, Premium $25, Thug sticks $35 and Boom sticks $45.

That is actually the plan. Cheaper again to include them in the larger load. Vitus mentioned needing some sticks too, so a trip down to L-ville will happen.
Re: Munitions Grade Arms Pre-Pennsic Update
let me know please when your heading to luisville. I can come up from murfreesboro and pick up sticks for our local guys. although I think everyone here that is wanting rattan will be at pensic.

I'll try to remember to post here when we decide. Is there still the Sunday practice on the campus?

Barony of the Flame practices are Tuesday evenings and 2nd & 4th Sunday of each month.
If you are planning on coming down during a practice, let Sir Vitus or I know and we'll post something on the barony e-mail list just in case anybody else wants anything.

Thug Sticks are poles that are ~1.75" - 2" thick. Boom Sticks are ~2"-2.5" thick.

Re: Munitions Grade Arms Pre-Pennsic Update
This just in!
I will have fiberglass spear shafts this year!
$35 is my planned price (unless something goes horribly awry)
I'm also working up a kit price for shaft,Spear caps and tips But I'm still crunching the numbers on that one.
However, my marshal gauges will be in limited supply, a new batch won't be ready in time for Pennsic.

Re: Munitions Grade Arms Pre-Pennsic Update
I've got a half ton of rattan in the truck to bring up to Warriors & Warlords (driving up tomorrow, I'll be ready to sell Friday morning sometime).
Just as a heads up to the Northshield folk: I do not plan to be at Boar's Head this December. This will be my last time up there until sometime next year.

Re: Munitions Grade Arms Pre-Pennsic Update
Did you ever get any of the thin skin-on rattan in for youth weapons. I still want to pick up some for repairing some polo mallets.

Re: Munitions Grade Arms Pre-Pennsic Update
All current orders have been shipped. I won't be taking any new mail orders until sometime after Pennsic. The rattan is at the bottom of a steadily filling trailer.

Just a heads up: I'll only have maybe 10 carved rattan wasters this year at Pennsic, and about that many turned rattan maces.
