These were $60 or so new. This one is unused. Make it $50 and it's yours.

Gonna have to pass on the axehead... would be more of an impulse buy than something I immediately need. Best of luck on the auction!

Losthelm - that would barely cover materials & propane. Absolute lowest I will go on the buckles is $10 each. Buy them all and I will pay shipping ConUS.

Back from the post office with supplies.

I am a frustrating $10 short of what I need to buy the lamellar.

I dunno what the fencing mask usually goes for, but I'd throw down 35 for it.

Thank you for your offer. A Uhlmann 1600N FIE mask goes for about $230 new. I won't go below $110 for this item.

Alasdair,

I think most folks have a good idea what a fair price is. I appreciate Losthelm's Thunderwinde & Benedek's offers even if they were somewhat low. No hard feelings generated or people scolded.

If the mask for example was a cheapie $60 when new mask I'd have been happy to get $35 for it in good condition.

The gentle who purchased the lot of Stainless Splints, for example, made his initial offer thinking they were spring stainless. We re-negotiated via PM and all is good.

Best Regards,

Grimr

I personally like this style of sale... instead of people just browsing, it starts a conversation between interested parties. I frankly had little idea of what that product went for when I bid (hope you don't think I was trying to lowball you, PW), but if it were something I needed more urgently, that initial offer would have got me talking about it and then I would have bought it at the price he suggested. Just a different style of selling, I suppose.

$25 on the 16 gauge one-piece knees, if they are a 'large', plus shipping? I'd have a co-worker who does paypal make the transfer.
