[white mountain armoury]

This is an auction style Yardsale.
Each lot has a letter, place a bid in dollar amounts (no cents please) and list the "Letter" you are bidding on.
Pay attention to see if someone has bid higher than you so you dont get bummed you lost something.
Also there is a lot of stuff here, I dont have time to get everyone a shipping quote, its just clothing mostly so shipping should be reasonable.
I will accept paypal as payment, when the auction has concluded in a few days I will contact the winners to work out shipping and payments.
As always someone always stiffs me, it happens every time, dont make my wall of shame, if you bid you should follow through and make the payment.
None of the clothing has been pressed, it has all been laundered.

lot A : a big pile of 5 generic fighting tunics and 2 pairs of fighting pants, there is a white shirt with red and black trim no photographed.
These were designed to fit over a guy with a 48 in chest wearing padding beneath.
They have been fought in, there are no tears, but there will be dye marks, some grass stains etc.
All a decent fight worthy weight cotton, pants are draw string type, fit a lot of sizes up to a 38/40 in waist

lot B : a nice old post vice, I will not ship it, if you are local you can pick it up.
Its nicer than it looks and works well, its rusty from sitting under my bench untouched for a good 10 years or so.

lot C : an unfinished parti colored mens cote, green and white cotton damask, sleeves lined and slit to the elbow, body is unlined, no buttons or closures
the groovy cat modeling is 5.8 with a 48 in chest

lot D :15th century Italian Renaissance gown
This piece of garb is machine stitched of cotton/poly blend brocade home decorator fabrics.The bodice is lined in black cotton, and the underskirt is sewn into the overdress in the back, and attaches the overdress in the front with a series of eyelets at the waist. The hems of this dress are basted only and will need to be sewn or tacked where desired. The dress is designed to fit a figure of a women's size 8 (37.5" chest, 29" waist, 38.5" hip, or so) and measures about 32" immediately below the bustline. This outfit has never been worn.

lot E : 11th century gown
This 11th century gown is made of cream/light yellow cotton fabric. It is machine stitched. This dress has been worn but is in good shape except for the need for a small repair at the top of the center back gore. The dress is t-tunic in style and is 37" across the waist with front , back, and side gores at the hip.
It certainly looks nice when on and belted, sorta ho hum on the dress form.

lot F : sorta scratchy wool half circle cape and groovy pin, its pretty and is in fine shape, not heavy weight, but still nice, a good size as well.

lot G: blue linen and white cotton gored 11th cent style tunics, fit a 48 in chest, some wear present but still nice.

lot H : 2 kaftans, wore the white one around camp, fought in the dark one under my lamella, looked cool.
White one is light weight and comfy, the dark is much heavier in weight and shows some wear from fighting, but no holes or tears.
Again, 5'8 48 in chest is the size.

lot I : Bronze spurs, 10 or so years old, came from Historic Enterprises, they were not cheap, quite nice, I can offer a closer image if someone wants.

lot J : polished bronze viking era buckle and chape from Raymonds on a green belt that was over dyed dark brown, pretty nice.

lot K : Tim Finkas made treefoil buckle and chape with 5 mounts, polished bronze, great quality on a moosehide belt.

lot L : A sorta Grecian skirt and tunic
These are machine sewn of light yellow cotton fabric. The skirt has a zipper closure with velcro attachment at the waist, and a very deep side slit on one side. The skirt has a 26" waist and the tunic is about 39" wide at the waist. This outfit has been worn but is in very good condition.
We just made up the patter based on a cool McBride illustration.

lot M : Irish peasant dress
The chamise has a ribbon-gathered neckline and has elastic at the wrists. It is made of natural linen. The dress is made of a cotton green and black stripe fabric with metal eyelets at the front closure and shoulders.The chemise is generously sized: 48" around at the armpit, and bigger as it approaches the hemline. The dress is designed to fit a figure of a women's size 8 (37.5" chest, 29" waist, 38.5" hip, or so) but as the bodice laces, it will adjust to fit a slightly larger figure. The outfit has been worn but is in very good condition.

lot N : Cotehardies, only one is pictured but you get 2, they look the same pretty much
Both cotes are machine stitched cotton brocade home decorator fabrics. The eyelets are handsewn with button thread. On the green cote, the eyelets are directly across from one another, while the white cote has them offset by 1/2 inch or so. The white cote has handmade cloth buttons and handsewn button holes from the wrist to the elbow and linen-lined sleeves. Both dresses have been worn. The green fabric has heathered a bit with washing, but neither garment has any rips or tears. These are designed to fit a figure of about a women's size 8 (37.5" chest, 29" waist, 38.5" hip, or so) but as the dresses lace, they will adjust to fit a slightly larger figure.
Does not include plaque belt !!

lot 0 : Viking tunic and overdress does not include turtle brooches
This Viking tunic and overdress were constructed based on patterns from the Historika Museet (Museum of National Antiquities) in Stockholm Sweden available online at http://www.historiska.se.
For the tunic, the pattern of the main body and sleeves are from finds from Haithabu/Hedeby. Decorative elements, namely the application of the tablet-woven bands, are based on grave 965 at Birka. Their pattern for the overdress is extrapolated from a find from Haithabu/Hedeby. This dress has been worn once and is in excellent condition. The dress is designed to fit a figure of a women's size 8 (37.5" chest, 29" waist, 38.5" hip, or so). The dress is 37" around under the armpit and 42" at the hip.

The tunic is constructed of commercially-dyed blue fulled tabby-woven wool of a medium weight, the overdress of commercially-dyed yellow fulled tabby-woven wool of a medium weight. Both garments are hand-sewn with natural linen-thread. All seams were stitched in a backstitch for strength. Most seam allowances are splayed and stitched down with a hand-sewn running-stitch in silk thread. Hems are finished in a hand-sewn overcast stitch. The bands are hand woven on an inkle loom of cotton crochet thread.

lot P : 15th century gown
This gown is made of wool and trimmed in rabbit fur. It is hand-sewn with beeswaxed linen thread in a backstitch and the seams are finished with silk thread in a running stitch to splay the seams open. This helps control the bulk of the wool at the seam and allows the garment to lie fairly flat at the seam. It is designed to be worn over a 15th century kirtle. The belt is not included as part of this auction. This gown has never been worn. It is designed to fit a figure of a women's size 8 (37.5" chest, 29" waist, 38.5" hip, or so), though as it is about 44" around under the armpit, it will fit a larger figure.
