LF linen fighting garb

Hey folks,

I'm not really sure what to look for in fighting garb, ruggedness/breathe-ability perhaps. I plan on wearing it over Zoombang gear and eventually between Zoombang and maille (SCA heavy combat). I'm not looking for anything fancy in appearance.

I figure with the wealth of knowledge/experience here, someone would have some suggestions on what to look for and where to get it.
