I want a spring 14th century harness. I want to start with legs first.
I am not interested in sending someone thousands of dollars, my measurements and then getting armour that doesn't fit three years later. I am tired of that.
I am looking for somebody who will let me come to their shop for fittings as the armour is being made. I don't mind driving.
Who lives within 10 hours of Louisville and works in spring?
Spring armourers within 10 hours of Louisville, KY?

Eldred Tremayne is in Burlington, NC. That should be within 10 hours.

Eldrid (Tom) does spring. He does 14th c. You basically hit is sweet spot. He is (just barely) within the driving time range you want. Perversely enough my stuff is about 20 minutes farther away. So if you do decide to work with him and come to visit playing with armour is also possible.

And if you need a place to spend the night, I'm only an hour or so away. Though we havnt met, The wife and I would enjoy having you over. We were good friends of Vitus back when the world was young. LOL..Plus it would give me an excuse to see Wade and Tom. I have a few authentic toys too, and some nice repro stuff, (14th and 15th cent) but nothing compared to wade.
People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
