After I get commetments for 200 pounds of nail orders, we'll sort out all the payment and shipping details.

I'm dropping the tin plated option seeing as I seem to be the only one interested it. I found a plating shop that will plate my 10 pounds for $95.

Brass Nail Order List:

20 lbs. - Craig Nadler
10 lbs. - Jan van Nyenrode
10 lbs. - Riese Von Landsee
10 lbs. - Kel Rekuta
10 lbs. - GK (Grischa)

Sub 10 pound orders:
Please note that these orders must go through a distributor. I'm not going to handle 2 pound orders myself. I might handle the 5 pound orders depending on how many of them there are.

6 pounds - Tom B.
5 pounds - Sean Powell
2 pounds - dragonjohn
2 pounds - Tascius
2 pounds - Ingelri
2 pounds - Hrolfr
2 pounds - William Lee

Total Orders: 81 pounds
Best Regards,

Craig Nadler (a.k.a. - Sinric)

I'm going to handle orders as small as 5 pounds in order to get things moving. Currently the plan is for Tom B. to handle sub 5 pound orders.

I'm looking around with some friends to buy some. Not sure yet how much but I think we'll make 10 pounds minimum, so sign me up for that for now.
Maybe I could split shipping with Jan van Nyenrode because he's also a Dutchie?

Greetings, everyone.

I was wondering what happened with the order... Did you get enough commitments to do one, or did this just fade away into the mists of time? I really wanted, and still do hope to get several pounds of the Brass Nails...

Thanks,

Greyholt....................

Certainly not cheap, or really cheap like in a bulk order, but I have been getting mine from Amazon. At least if your a prime member, you get free 2nd day shipping. I've been really happy with these.

RJ Leahy has a few types that are good for brigandines / COP's:

Copper roofing nails (and tech info)
http://www.rjleahy.com/store/nails/copper1.htm
http://www.rjleahy.com/Techcenter/nails/roofing.htm

Tacks (and tech info)
http://www.rjleahy.com/store/nails/copper2.htm
http://www.rjleahy.com/Techcenter/nails/tacks.htm

Excellent customer service, and if you are ordering to Canada they will ship USPS (to avoid ridiculous brokerage fees)

I still have some tinned steel brigandine nails from Craig's first order (that was what, the '90s?) which are very pretty...

Hi.

Thanks for the links, but I really wanted to get more accurate nails in brass. I have a bunch of the tinned ones, but I need brass ones for a new project.

Thanks.

I'm doing a quick survey to see who still be interested in this group order. So, if you are interested post a message saying how many pounds of nails you would be interested in.
