Looking for "low profile" arm-elbow solution
I would like to see at or below $200, but if it is something that really blows my mind I would consider going over that. I want something that will have minimal or no limitation of my movement and that will not visually stick out. I will be looking to make payment at either the end of this month, or the end of next depending upon the cost.
This will be an addition to a Norse kit for heavy fighting. Would prefer something which goes from wrist to elbow so I don't have to worry about anything catching on the chainmaille I will be wearing.
At one point I had seen someone with something I would best describe as suede sleeves that ended in an elbow cup, had straps that held then in place over the gambeson and under the chain. This would be acceptable as well.
Any suggestions on where I could find such a thing, or does anyone have something that fits my requirements already?

I use these, not so much low profile as leather with a Vendel design. With the right tunic you could easily cover them if you wanted. Taking SCA safety precautions, I opt to just suck it up and look anachronistic.

Re: Looking for "low profile" arm-elbow solution
A light weight, low profile vambrace paired with a wingless elbow cop (like what Ice Falcon linked to) is significantly lower profile than a bazuband. They can still be made out of hardened leather to be early periodish, or simply covered witha long sleeve tunic.
Edited to add:
You were looking for places to get them. In addition to the guys above I would add:
Stonkeep. he only sells what he has instock anymore, and the low profile option is a bit DIY

Bokalo. it looks like he is taking a break for a bit, but could probably still help you out when he comes back.

2ns the style Ice has and bhaiduk shows. I have 2 sets like that and love them compared to my old Bazuband. I wear a set under my Chain Shirt.

I have a pair of blues spring steel fanless elbows for sale for $45+shipping
The padding I used weighed more than the elbows.
