Review: Ice Falcon Armory

I have been making small steps to upgrade the appearance of my kit, so long as it does not weigh me down or sacrifice mobility.

The latest of these is a purchase from Ice Falcon Armory...a set of high-grade aircraft aluminum splinted leg armor. Friday January 11th, I called up Andre and we worked out the details, took measurements, etc. The armor was built to my specifications and shipped to my door no later than Friday the 18th, and I fought in them all day at practice on the 20th.

WOW! These aircraft aluminum legs weigh A POUND AND A HALF EACH! That is awesome! That kind of lightness and comfort is the only way I will wear armor other than the minimums.

In short, they are near-weightless, very protective, and dead sexy to boot.

Ice was a pleasure to do business with (as always), and this was an A+ transaction all around!
