Large antler hilted seax auction-Ended.

Post by Ironbadger »

Found a nice piece of antler in my boxes of stuff after I cleaned it up, so I made a seax.

The blade is 9 inches, just about 14 inches overall length.
Made from some of the antique sawblade steel, the skin was left along the spine to give it that pleasing blacksmithed look.
Nice and sharp, and brass furniture.

A very solid piece that feels good in the hand.
It'll hold your enemies at bay, cut up your meat and chop the vegetables for the stewpot. All in one day.

No sheath available- I am out of anything but scrap pieces of leather right now, useful only for much smaller knives.

Opening bid will be $80- I don't make many antler gripped seaxes because suitable antler is getting harder and harder for me to get for a reasonable price...If I can get it at all.

Shipping will be an extra $18 in the US.
Overseas buyers will need to contact me for actual shipping quotes.

Lets run this to monday evening- the 28th.
4 days.

Winning bidder will need to contact me within 3 days of the end of auction to arrange payment by paypal.

I will open the bid with $80.00 since I gave mine away last year as the unbelted tourney prize.

Always when I am out of touch. This would have been a nice addition.
