The shell for the Coat of Plates, cuisses, and greaves have an outside layer of 3-4oz. goat skin. The inside layer is a 16 to 20oz. hemp canvas or twill. Please note that leather is weighed by the square foot and fabric is weighed by the square yard.
The shell would be either single color or party coloedr, but not the striped pattern shown on the left leg.
