GIB polar bear forge

Anyone ever try the "grinder in a box" kit from polar bear forge? It looks like a good start for a 72"X2" belt grinder.

Yep, I have a few times.... ;)

I know that a number on this board have built it. I can't find the posts right now, but I know they're there.

I built one last winter. It went together easily and is a solid investment. I expect to use for the forseeable future. I will eventually add a vfd unit to it, as out of the gate the straight drive set up is a bit of a challenge.
I recommend the kit highly.

My coworker bought one, but hasn't assembled it yet. But the sale went well, and shipping was prompt! Right now my coworker just likes to challenge people to "pick up that flat rate box in the corner"
