various helmets

Post by Donngal »

I have been staying really busy at the shop. part of that is doing the boring part of paper work which I have allowed myself to be distracted from today and pop on here.
I wanted to take a moment to share what I have been up to in just the last 4 weeks.
these were just the custom orders. I have few stock helms Im working on as well as more brig gorgets, padded splinted Cuisses, spring bazubands and gauntlets.
I have brought my old compadre on board to help out a few hours a week, Charlie. Chazz on here. so I hope to have more of the off the shelf goods in the future.

not only do you have to have creative metal working skills but you have to be able to manage the business office side
otherwise you will not make it.

Hey Donngal, Have you ventured into later period helms? Sallets, barbutes, close helms, etc?

I suspect that the answer is out of my price range, but put of curiosity, what about does a pair of spring bazubands cost?
