Looking for Black wool cloak

Post by Edward MacTavish »

Where is the best place to pick up a black wool cloak or does anyone have a used one they would be willing to sell? Thanks,

Edward

They make beautiful green cloaks in Rivendell. Other than than, I would reach out to historic enterprises or similar and ask for a quote. My first choice, however, is the craftsmen of Rivendell.

Esty has a surprising array of very cool medieval craftspeople. I'd suggest doing a search there.

Edward I might have one, I will check. Maybe we can trade the surcoat for it if you want. Let me look.

Seconded. The hood is one of those pointy type hoods rather than a rounded hood, which I don't like, but you can't beat the price. This is the cloak I use and it's pretty nice particularly at its price point.

You can try Klaus the Red here on AA. He made one for my wife and it is a really high quality item.

Check with some of the ladies in your group. They probably have wool laying around and would enjoy a small job. This is probably next to a surcoat the easiest thing to make. And you can give them a few bucks, that's always appreciated. I don't know your station but its also a good way to meet chicks. Hey can one of you wenches help me out? Just sayen...
Also on a side note get it made twice your size, never know when you may have to protect a belly dancer or two!
