Helm for Sell/trade and anvil question

Hey guys , I have a helm that doesn't quite fit right and would like to sell it or perhaps trade it for a helm to fit my apparently wonky shaped head . It is a GDFB houndskull helm with a butted mild steel chain-mail aventail , also I carved a fleur de lis into the left cheek . As for the anvil question I have an anvil with a weird thing on the horn I have no idea what its purpose is , would love any feed back. Thanks in advance !

My 350# anvil had the same kind of nub. I've been told it is a chain makers anvil. I don't know the exact purpose of the nub but I use it for all sorts of fiddly little things. Though really I'm not so sure about it being a chain makers anvil - when I've found pictures of them online the nub has usually been a lot different.

Regarding the anvil question. The side shelf thing is called a "clip horn" or "side clip" (I've heard it called both) It's something often found on farriers anvils. I believe it's for adding toe clips onto horseshoes.
