Didn't see any mention of "basket hilt" in the description of the banning. Just length and thrusties at both ends. A description which, incidentally, kills the use of bastard swords with pommeling techniques and short javelins with butt caps.

This reminds me of when some politician has an animus toward a specific weapon, but tries to legislate it away by using generic descriptions which end up covering all sorts of broader categories. Is the basket hilt like having a flash suppressor or bayonette mount on an Evil Black Rifle?

I was just referring to the madu - haven't seen one that didn't have a basket hilt and/or buckler.

Since they said that the part you are referring to was posted in error, I moved on from that.
