Im looking for a nice but affordable aventail for my new helm. Was hoping for some suggestions.

Mild, stainless, Flat ring, Round ring, welded riveted? Price range? these would help in directing you..

I have made a few butted link avaintails most recently for accdntprone helms.
Priceing starts at 50 +shipping for a short bassinet style or 75 for the longer type.
14 gauge galvanized Sized to the helm.

I can do stainless 16 gauge 5/16" it tends to be a little lighter and runs twice the cost due to added labor and material costs.

We have all types and all price ranges in stock. Our flat ring, blackened riveted aventails are very affordable. Are you looking for mild or stainless?

Just a quibble, but isn't 2 mm closer to 13-14 gauge? Certainly strong enough for what I want to use it for!
