Review - Wulfe Armoury - Audun Hroarson

So I got a pair of VERY SEXY Wisby gauntlets in the mail today from Audun Hroarson of Wulfe Armoury.
I am extremely pleased with the product and the interactions leading up to and throughout the process of building and delivery.

Product quality - 5 stars. The gauntlets are beautiful and fit like a glove (pun intended). I immediately starting hitting the gauntleted hand with a rattan stick and the more I struck the hand and fingers, the harder I made each subsequent strike. I felt very safe in the gauntlet throughout the testing. They are probably the safest gauntlet I have ever owned.

Pre-build communication - 5 stars. Audun was very clear about delivery time and provided very clear documentation on what he needed from me to insure the gauntlets fit right. Once the first half of the payment was delivered, he started working on the gauntlets.

Build communication - 5 stars. Audun let me know when he started and provided emails and pictures during the build process.

Price - 5 stars. You get what you pay for. Your helmet and your gauntlets are the pieces that are probably going to cost the most for high quality product. I personally am willing to invest money to protect me Noggin and my Hands. The price of the gauntlets was very reasonable considering the complexity and quality of the final product.

Note - I really did not expect the gauntlets to be delivered until mid-December at the earliest. Holidays do horrible things to schedules of the best of us. Anyway, Audun sent an email saying the gauntlets were done on a Friday. I did not see the email until Saturday. By that time, he was out of town dealing with a family issue. Despite being out of town, he was apologizing for not getting the gauntlets in the mail in a timely manner. That was last Saturday and he was not able to get them in the mail until Wednesday due to the issue. I have them this Saturday. On top of getting me the gauntlets very quickly, his lady made a embroidered bag with my name on it to hold the gauntlets because I was so understanding about the delay. Frankly, I was stunned that they were done so quickly and already on there way to me. His customer service is OUTSTANDING!.

So, you want some great gauntlets made by a craftsman that understands quality product and customer service, Get in line and order a pair from Audun. You will not regret it. I know that once I show these around up here in An Tir, he will be getting more orders.
