OPEN SLOT for A BREASTPLATE.....

Post by PartsAndTechnical »

I have two breastplate blanks that are 80% done. $190 in person/215 shipped ...not claimed, just left overs from a batch I made few years ago.

I avoid...well rather I eschew custom fit work unless Ive got a bodycast and model to work with (if your in the MD area you could swing by for a test) so I tend to produce pieces in pre set sizes (a little tweaking if fine, sure, just tell me) .... Im kicking around is to forge this to a roughly 5'9-6'2 persons size, late 14th century, rolled edges, neck etc. Strapless to keep the project streamlines but could likely go out the door within three weeks or less.

This is not the breastplate proper in question, though it will look very similar except for fauld lame

If anyone is interested, lmk.

You're in MD? Man, I did not know that. Will file that in my 'people I need to contact' when I'm ready to do a 14th C harness.

14 guage. Good ol' mild. :)

Rolled over edges make it even tough(er) ..obviously. Hmm...I could put a crease in it--that might be cool.
