WTB Budget klappvisor bascinet.

Post by sulla123 »

Looking to buy a cheap but well shapped klappvisor bascinet or possibly just the klappvisor by itself. I do not mind a project. Also this will not be for combat so I do not care if it is SCA legal or not.

Also I might do some trading for this helmet I own. Since this photo was taken I redid the eye slots to be more historicly accurate. They now angle in from the top and bottom and both sides. This is a large helmet. I believe it is about 30" around just above the opening on the front. It is to large for me. I will get a current picture and from a better angle later.

Well he has the GDFB version but I do not really like it. If I got it I would get it from cult of athena since its about $50 cheaper there. But I really want something with a better shape to it.

I agree it will be tough. But might be possible so worth a try :) I have found some good deals over the years not getting in a hurry and looking around and putting the word out for what I need.
