i kinda like it. It crams most of the warpoints for heavy into Thur-Fri-Sat. This allows me to leave after work on wed night and only miss the town battle on tuesday. *shrug*

I'd be happier if that were the case, make the fighting from Wed-Sat. No reason then to have a Tues. fighting, then a Wed. Break, that double up the rest of the War. :)

(on Pennsic) I know that movie. It is the 13th warrior. A bunch of guys in armour that doesn't match itself or anybody elses, go on a trip and argue and get drunk and get laid and then fight Tuchux.

After having to miss it last year to finish college, I am ready to get back! I've been looking at the scenarios and they seem interesting, especially the Town battle with its more spread-out set-up. In the past I have usually only participated in the war-points and one or two side battles or tourneys, but this year I want to do more fighting, so I will try to be at the castle for pick-ups as often as I can.

Not only am I going to gulf wars, but we are starting to have 80 degree highs with a lot of humidity, so I'm conditioning for potentially hot and grueling battles already!

Here's a dumb question... What the hell is a "Live Weapon"?? Is it like a cock fight only you toss two flamberges into the ring and the first to bend a quillion is the loser?

It's how Meridies & Gleann Abhean refer to throwing steel axes & spears at targets.

If you hit the wrong people. People should make it clear if they are gonna whine. maybe by emblazoning a bloody maxi pad on their shield.

I'll be there. Gonna be there on Sunday.

Hope the town battle is as epic as it was last year!
