Back around Thanksgiving I took a custom order for Halfdan here on the archive - as it was a special order and a LARGE horn, some time was understood to get underway, it was two weeks to ship from the supplier, and so forth.
All seemed well until the brutal weather set in, driving me from the shop. Then the holidays, and then flu. Halfdan was patient, which was greatly appreciated.
Last week, ( finally) I was ready to ship and I intrusted the horn to a friend for shipping, telling him it was on his way. He contacted me Monday ( and rightfully so) to inquire as it why it hadn't arrived. It developed it was still in the backseat of the car.
This was an inexcusable lapse on my part, and I take all blame and responsibility - I screwed up, and will own that, and if Halfdan is pissed at me I'll be the last one to blame him. That said, I hope I can make amends and regain the trust of my customers, and I sincerely apologize for this egregious on my part.

Brans Horns- Customer service failure!
Do not envy others and avoid arrogance, for such conduct diminishes one's fame. Defend yourself if you are attacked. It is becoming to be humble, yet at the same time you must make a bold showing if put to the test.

I know what you mean, one box tools for mailing was left in the back of the SUV.
I thought my wife mailed it and she thought I mailed it.
A royal SNAFU by anyone's count.
No excuse Sir.

Someone pointed me to this post. I somehow missed it before. I wish could tell Bran that I never was upset; I feel like I got the horn in a timely manner and experienced nothing but top quality craftsmanship and customer service.
