Known World Squires Tournament at Gulf Wars

Post by dukedrake »

In a somewhat funny bit of news from news from Gulf related to this excellent tournament...

For the past 3 such tournaments, Sven Randulson proved victorious in each. In that Sven now knighted (and Ansteorra's prince) he was of course incapable of entry but had the joy of at least attending and watching the proceedings. As it turned out, both of Sven's squires ended up in the finals, with his senior squire (Ragnar Svensson) proving the victor.

They both obviously fight the same 2-sword style that Sven has showcased the past several years, and do so quite well. It is nice to see a surge in the effectiveness of non-S and S fighting and fighters.
