who wants to help with designing cheekplates?

I've been staring at this helmet for a few weeks waiting for it to speak to me, but it hasn't. It's rather frustrating since I actually have time to work on it right now. With that said I'm turning to the Hive Mind in the hopes that some of you would like to scribble on that image and throw some inspiration at me

I am unable to save as picture.
Is it facing to the left?

It is facing to the right. the sot on the left will get some more plates in it.
I'm not sure why it wont let you save it, when I click on he image it will let me right click to save or gives me a download option off to the side.

Dumb question: can you post a pic of you or someone else wearing it. I need a better sense of scale. Also front and 3/4 view would help understand the style. You are obviously unrestrained by historic armor for this project so lets see what fantasy elements are worth expanding upon.

that great big hole in the back will be filled in with some vertical slats, i just haven't gotten around got actually putting them in. in the meanwhile it makes a good handle when i grab the helmet

That kind of cheek is what I've been playing with but i just haven't had anything that clicks yet. I have however gone through a whole lot of beer boxes
