PRICE DROP - Tents for sale in time for Pennsic

Post by Iain (Bunny) Ruadh »

Well it looks like I won't be headed to Pennsic this year, so I'm letting go of at least one of my four tents (yes, it's as bad as my armour habit at times!) which I've had in storage here outside of Detroit.

- The first one is from Panther 'Wall' tent to simulate a Roman Papillo Leather Tent and is great for going solo or for a close couple. It was used at only one Pennsic, transports incredibly easy and worked beautifully!

From the Panther catalog (pg 30.):
The originals were made of leather. We make ours out of canvas and reinforce them exactly the same as our standard wall tents on page 38. Set up packages include 2 uprights, 1 ridge pole, side wall guy ropes and stakes. Khaki colored canvas looks great for this tent!
STYLE: Papilio, 13 oz. Sunforger w/Flame Ret. (Khaki) w/SET-UP PKG.
SIZE - 9’W x 9’L Color, Wall Ht.: 24”, Peak Ht.: 6’4”

I paid almost $900 new before shipping, now asking PRICE DROP $450 + Shipping. Can take credit cards as well as PayPal, will drop price further if paid in cash and/or picked up from the SE MI area (same if you can coordinate for someone else to pick up on their way to Pennsic).

- The 2nd is a Tentmasters wall tent 10'x10 with poles, ropes, stakes and all bagged separately. Only downside are the poles being painted baby blue (does make it easy to spot amongst a row of them though!). Another great tent for Pennsic for the solo traveler or for the young ones. I can provide photos of it in use at Pennsic if requested. Over $1000 to get all of this new, but it has seen use (but extremely well maintained) so asking PRICE DROP $600 + Shipping. As above, can take CC, but will drop price for cash & pickup.

**Posted my asking price, but willing to entertain reasonable offers. Not looking for any trades at the moment.**

Shipping within the lower 48 states via UPS Ground. Outside of the lower 48 states can be done with the buyer paying shipping difference. Please send any questions or offers to purchase via the archive email address I have on my profile and NOT via archive PM (fills up way too fast).

Payment: I accept Credit Cards and PayPal, but I can also take money orders and cashier checks (shipping upon receipt along with address). I will take personal checks but will hold shipment until it clears through my bank. I will send tracking #s on all shipments along with email letting the new owners know items are en route if shipping is selected. ***Please Note: Payment in hand trumps anybody calling 'dibs' on any of my listings. It's the way things work in world and cuts down on the 'Sit on for days while I screw up the courage to ask my girlfriend' syndrome that I've had to suffer through (and lost actual buyers because of). If someone makes a payment to secure, it goes to them.***

If you are able to pick either (or both) of these up, I also have a 'Boy Scout Camp Kitchen Box' (aka Chuck box) which I have absolutely no interest in shipping (anywhere) but would be great at Pennsic again! For a nominal fee it can be yours to use or to barter/gift to a camp this year. It's painted a darker blue and is similar to this one:

I would prefer if you came to Pennsic and used this stuff yourself - but since you are hell bent on getting rid of it all - I will take the Patrol Box.

Man, wishing I hadnt just bought my lorica hamata, or i would grab the roman khaki tent. Would probably even drive up to get it. :) But don't see anyway to get $600 together, after just getting that. Someone is going to be lucky. :)

Just a quick bump that PMs have been replied to. :bump:

The roman tent is still available if you are going to Pennsic and in need. If nobody claims this before Pennsic, Syr Finn give me a ping and we'll see what we can work out.

On a side note, the Albion Condottiere sword is still available from this thread as well.
